# Utilities - Admin Components

These utilities are available since Medusa [v2.21.0](https://github.com/medusajs/medusa/releases/tag/v2.21.0).

The `@medusajs/dashboard/lib` subpath exports the utilities that the Medusa Admin uses to format data, validate forms, and register custom table and search behavior. Use them in your [admin extensions](https://docs.medusajs.com/learn/fundamentals/admin) to handle values the same way the Medusa Admin does.
